  17. Has anyone heard anything or had any experience with NewCom modems?  I've 
  18. just seen a 28.8 NewCom modem for sale for $99.  This ostensibly looks 
  19. to be a good deal, unless the modem sucks.  Any testimonials, 
  20. denigrations, etc.?
